Stefan Eriksson named regional finalist in EY Entrepreneur Of The Year

Stefan Eriksson, CEO of Tura Scandinavia AB, has been selected as a regional finalist in EY Entrepreneur Of The Year – one of the world’s most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who contribute to business development through their leadership, determination and ability to build successful companies.

Following an extensive nomination and interview process, Stefan Eriksson has been selected as one of 60 entrepreneurs in Sweden to advance in this year’s competition. His journey now continues toward the national final, which brings together some of Sweden’s most outstanding entrepreneurs to recognize their achievements and entrepreneurial accomplishments.

“I am deeply grateful to have first been nominated and now selected as a regional finalist in EY Entrepreneur Of The Year. This is a great honor that I share with our entire fantastic team. We would never have come this far without their dedication, hard work and willingness to always go the extra mile. Standing alongside so many inspiring entrepreneurs is something I truly appreciate, and I see it as a wonderful acknowledgment of the journey we are making together.”

The jury’s nomination included the following remarks:
“When Stefan took over, the company had annual revenue of approximately SEK 20 million. Today, Tura is a billion-krona company and one of the Nordic region’s largest distributors of consumer electronics and accessories. Its range includes more than 10,000 products sold to retailers in the Nordic countries and around 20 other markets. Over the years, Stefan has adapted the product offering to technological shifts and changing customer needs. He was instrumental in the company’s Nordic expansion and invested early in a digitalized and automated warehouse in Nässjö.”

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is a globally recognized and prestigious competition for entrepreneurs, held in approximately 60 countries. This is the 31st edition of the Swedish competition. Following in-depth interviews, 60 finalists were selected to compete in six regional finals taking place in November.

At each regional final, winners are selected by an independent external jury made up of prominent business leaders and previous award-winning entrepreneurs. The jury evaluates the ten finalists in each regional final against four criteria: impact, entrepreneurial spirit, purpose and growth.

In addition to the main award, prizes are presented in the categories Entrepreneurial Winning Woman, Accelerating Entrepreneurship and Best International Growth. Two honorary awards, the Impact Entrepreneurship Award and the EY Family Enterprise Award, are also presented at the national final. All winners advance to the national final, which will take place at Stockholm City Hall on January 27, 2027.
